SISVEL and Audio MPEG grant Creative an MPEG Audio Patent License
S.I.SV.EL. S.p.A., and its U.S. subsidiary Audio MPEG, Inc. and Creative Technology announce that SISVEL and Audio MPEG have granted to Creative a standard license under the MP3 and MPEG2 audio compression patents owned by France Telecom, TDF S.A., U.S. Philips Corporation, Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V., Institut für Rundfunktechnik GmbH, and Bayerische Rundfunkwerbung GmbH.

SISVEL grants Motorola an MP3 and MPEG 2 audio patent license
S.I.SV.EL. S.p.A. and its US subsidiary Audio MPEG, Inc. announced today that they have granted Motorola Inc. a license for MPEG Audio layers 1, 2, and 3 (MP3) patents. The Agreement covers all Motorola’s mobile phones with MP3 capabilities and all Motorola digital set-top boxes and decoders.

Patent holders reach agreement on royalty rates for DVB-H
