Eeva Hakoranta – We Can’t Afford Hold Out Behavior

Ms Hakoranta spoke at the Licensing Executives Society International Virtual Annual Conference on May 27-28 on a panel organized by Sisvel and entitled Restored Balance and Clarity in the Innovation Ecosystem.

This is an excerpt from that panel explaining that if patent holders are not getting a reward for their innovation, this will not be healthy for standardisation and innovation activities.

Ms. Hakoranta is the Executive Vice President and Chief Licensing Officer at InterDigital. Formerly, she served more than 13 years at Nokia, most recently as Senior Vice President and Head of IP and Litigation, as well as General Counsel for Nokia Technologies.
