Thought Leadership Program - SEP Policy Discussion
LES International is organizing the second edition of the "Thought Leadership Program", a professional learning series that this year will delve into topical tracks, including Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), Life Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, and UPC Litigation Strategy. Guided by seasoned licensing industry experts, the Thought Leadership Program aims to lead and enlighten on intellectual property policy and the strategic deployment of IP assets.
Leveraging our extensive experience in the licensing of globally standardized technology, Sisvel is honored to support the SEP track for the second consecutive year.
In the third session of the SEP Thought Leadership Program, we will engage in a comprehensive exploration of policy issues surrounding SEPs currently in discussions at a global level. Specifically, we will delve into the EU Draft SEP regulations and the proposed legislation and potential regulatory actions in the U.S.
Speakers will address what is being discussed, what is likely to move forward, and what is the appropriate role of government in this area (vs. the marketplace).
