The Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial 2 (“DVB-T2”) is the most advanced standard for broadcasting digital television on terrestrial networks, offering a substantial increase in transmission capacity compared to DVB-T. The DVB-T2 standard was published in the form of a Blue Book by the DVB Project in June 2008 and converted into a formal standard by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (“ETSI”) in September 2009.
