Luxembourg, 4 November 2025 - LG Electronics has become the latest company to agree a deal giving it access to the Wi-Fi 6 standards essential patents owned by South Korean R&D company Wilus.

Sisvel was pleased to have supported Wilus in securing the deal, which was reached on an amicable basis. The agreement follows another one reached with Lenovo in May.

Wilus is also a licensor member of the Sisvel Wi-Fi 6 patent pool. Over 30 companies are licensees to the SEPs offered via this programme. These include recent additions Cisco, Acer and Netgear.
