LUXEMBOURG, 13 May 2025 – Sisvel has appointed Injoon Song to run the firm’s business in South Korea. Based in Seoul, he will lead licensing efforts, working closely with Korean patent owners and supporting new business initiatives. 

Song, who joins Sisvel as Executive Adviser South Korea, was most recently a Project Leader at SK Telecom, where he spent 19 years in the IP function spearheading monetisation projects and positioning the company as a world leader in patent value creation. Prior to that, Song was Deputy Manager in the IP department of LG Electronics, working on telecoms licensing matters. He began his career in 1995 doing patent prosecution as an Assistant Manager with SK hynix.
